Gordon Conochie is an adjunct research fellow at La Trobe University and a journalist. He has masters’ degrees in politics and international relations and is the Executive Manager of the Victorian Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation (VACCHO). He has previously worked in Cambodia with the Ministry of Education, UNICEF and the World Bank on education strategy, and his previous book is A Tiger Rules the Mountain: Cambodia’s Pursuit of Democracy (2023).
