Mehdi M. Kashani is an Iranian-Canadian writer based in Toronto. His short story “So Long, Gregor” was shortlisted for the 2023 Commonwealth Short Story Prize. His fiction and nonfiction work has been published in various Canadian and American magazines and nominated for multiple awards.
