Volume 63 considers the recent achievements in the field of biomimetic sol-gel mineralization of natural polysaccharides for obtaining biologically active silicon-containing hydrogel materials, as well as the effect of the chirality of the main classes of biomimetics on their functional properties. The effects of reaction conditions such as temperature, weight hour space velocity and catalyst modification using different types of metals on catalyst activity and selectivity are explored. Lastly, nanoparticles of phthalic acid/aluminum nitrate are synthesized using a hydrothermal method, leading to a large quantity of CAU-10-H.
