The prevalence of obesity is increasing day-by-day and is the epidemic of the 21st century. In a recent analysis by WHO, it was found that 1.9 billion people aged 18 years or more were overweight, out of which 600 million were obese. The world obesity population has doubled over the last two decades. Obesity is associated with many diseases.
