Angela Valis is a poet, flutist, and endlessly curious traveler.
A lifetime of experiences and emotions have found expression in her poetic verse. Both as a child and an adult, she has found that atmosphere and nature have been portals for connecting with her essence, awakening her to wonder and discovery. Early in her journey, painful and conflicted encounters caused her to question the challenges we face and to perceive our finite time on Earth. In later years, she gained perspective of her agency and what holds value in life.
Now that she has invited delight back into her life, meaning, empowerment, and hope have emerged, allowing her to not just survive, but to blossom.
Earlier in life, Angela was enriched by directing study tours for foreign officials, learning with fascination and empathy that the souls of those from different cultures do not differ much from her own.
She is a contributing author to the anthology 100 Poems & Possibilities for Healing, volume 3, with the chapter “Believe in the Stars Within Your Heart.”
Her poems have also been published in St. Andrews In Focus in Scotland.
