Christmas. Christians celebrate the birth of Christ. We place our trust not in the extraordinary or the grand, but in the unassuming and the small. Not everyone is open to the idea of a child. Our times are different from those in which the Christian tradition began. Christmas must face this reality. The old, interpreted Christmas message is confronted with the challenges of the present. Not against one another, but with one another. Finding new answers together to old and new questions. A challenge.
