Das Jahrbuch für Kirchen- und Kulturgeschichte der Deutschen in Ostmittel- und Südosteuropa (mit Archiv für schlesische Kirchengeschichte) wird veröffentlicht vom Institut für Kirchen- und Kulturgeschichte der Deutschen aus Ostmittel- und Südosteuropa (IKKDOS). Sein The Yearbook of Church and Cultural History of the Germans in East Central and Southeastern Europe (including the Archive of Silesian Church History) is published by the Institute for Church and Cultural History of the Germans from East Central and Southeastern Europe (IKKDOS). Its cross-regional focus on Silesia, Pomerania, West and East Prussia, Transylvania, the Banat, the Bohemian Lands, and the former German settlement areas in the Baltic States is also reflected in the journal. Source-based research is complemented by studies on the history of dioceses, piety, art, culture, and education from the Middle Ages to the present; prominent figures in church and denominational history are highlighted, as are ecclesiastical organizations and monastic communities. Last but not least, special attention is given to pastoral care for displaced persons and the relationship between state and church.
